Windows 7 Release Date Confirmed, 22nd Oct. 2009

WindowsAs we previously mentioned a few weeks back, thanks to Acer the supposed launch date for Windows 7 would be October this year (2009). Well the cat is out of the bag as such, and Microsoft have announced that the highly anticipated operating system and successor to Windows Vista, Windows 7, will be released on October the 22nd 2009! Perfect timing for the holiday season.

This will be one of the shortest times between operating system launches for Microsoft with only around three years between the two.
Microsoft has done a lot of work to improve their operating system with new, intuitive user interfaces and better overall performance. So try and convince your friends and family to get you a copy! Or if that fails, just go out and get one, as we all know it is very worth it.
