Phoenix/Award BIOS’s could be closing down for good.

If annonymous DFI sources are to be believed, Phoenix/Award BIOS’ may be a thing of the past, as we’ve been informed that the parent company that produces the much loved PC backend system is set to close down.

This is backed up by that fact that in the past, DFI have been stalward users of the Award platform for their motherboard development, but puzzled some when with their more recent P55 board they chose to make use of BIOS competitors American Megatrends.
